Internet users are accustomed to seeing advertisements on the Internet pages. One of the most prominent advertising scheme used today is the Google Adsense which is available for searching on the web site, and web sites for mobile devices. Adword ads dominate the search results page of Google, and other Google properties also display their fair share of advertising.
The first part of these ads will be underlined. It is not clear where it leads to such disclosed by Salimane, and I can't reproduce it.
My personal opinion on the matter is that Chrome has changed adware if Google made the decision to present this kind of advertising to all Chrome users. Don't really care if the ads promote Google products or third-party product, it's still an ad.
